nutella stuffed french toast

Jun 9, 2014

Since Ace pretty much gets anything he wants right now, it's the least I can do really. I mean if I woke up multiple times a night because my arm itched so bad and I couldn't scratch it, I would be excepting a nice breakfast in the morning too. So yesterday he requested "choco-late french toast". Yay! It's one of my favorites too, have you ever tried it? It's amazing....make it right now!

Here's how I make it. Ready-Set-Go!

  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (or milk)
  • 1 1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 tsp cinnamon
  • nutella
(this will make 4-5 pieces)

Whisk first four ingredients together in a bowl. Spread nutella on two pieces of bread and put them together. Dip in the batter and coat pretty well. Melt some butter in a skillet and cook slices about 4 minutes per side. I like to do french toast low and slow until the outside gets a nice crispy crust on it. Smother with some syrup and prepare to have a party in your mouth!

Do you have a favorite breakfast food? I think mine all have to do with french toast.
