Or at least that is the way I presented it to Chris. The good thing about moving back to Georgia is that we moved up here from Georgia. Ha! We are doing one big circle, which we actually knew before we even moved to Alaska. But, since we have already lived there I know what to expect weather wise. Which means I have started shopping. I am trying to buy things that I can layer while still in Alaska, but that will transition quite nicely once we are settled in down south. As I was doing the kids' laundry, I noticed that Ace owns four short sleeved shirts. Four. So I have been on the lookout for kids clothing as well (thank you Gap for your sale on Monday). One of my personal favorite sales started yesterday, the Shopbop sale! This is definitely one I am taking advantage of, because the more you spend, the more you save. But I rounded up some of my current bookmarks as well, so here is a mix of what I wouldn't mind my closet looking like for spring.....into summer.
top row: blush bomber // bohemian dress // sunglasses // phone case // tumbler // lace-up top // dress
middle row: graphic tee // beach bag // nude pumps (under $40) // lace top (under $20) // slingbacks
Totally feeling the flowy, boho vibes for spring. Every where I click there is some cute embroidered dress or top that I am like, yes, I want to wear you! All those tops and dresses pair perfectly with a minimal sandal, or clog for good measure. I will never be able to give up my beloved denim, but I cannot get enough of the cropped flare style. I know some people look at them and think, are they high waters? Are they meant to stop at the ankle? What is the flare? And to that I say, I love them! I'm a short girl, so the relaxed flare is perfect for me, and it actually elongates the leg rather than give me a cankle, when paired with a heel. You just never want the cankle effect! And distressed denim....I mean....I just need every pair I can get my hands on. No matter how many people tell me I have holes in my jeans when I walk out of the house. The distressed denim will eventually morph into distressed shorts I am sure. But for now I will keep rockin the jeans.
So, have you been shopping for spring?
