Toto, I've a feeling we aren't in Anchorage anymore! I mean these pictures were taken there, but we are well on our way to the Yukon! In some ways this move doesn't feel real. Like, I kiiiind of feel like we just did this drive. It has been 4 years but still. In other ways, Anchorage really felt like home for a minute there. So many family adventures were had there, the memories!
I feel like we really grew while living in Alaska. We did things that would seem out of character for Chris and I before moving there. Mainly, camping. Which now seems like a breeze! The other night we camped in a place Chris has wanted to see for years, Wrangell St. Elias National Park. This place was breathtaking! I am so happy we went slightly out of the way to stay a night. Once I get some reliable wifi I will get all the pictures together, because it is just too good not to share. I posted as much as I could on snapchat before I lost service, but there is more. Ha!
The trip so far has been good. Don't remind me we are only three days in. The first hour was quite the task. Avalon got car sick (which isn't unusual for her) followed by Ace. Pierce has some gnarly nasal drip thing goin on that has been passed to Odette, making for one fussy baby while strapped in a car seat. BUT! All in all I can't complain....yet. And Caspian gets the best child award. Seriously I am blown away by this dog, just taking it all like a champ. The in and out of the car, new sleeping spot each night, new door to go to in order to signal a bathroom need. He's just doing great, which was a huge concern of mine going into this.
And me.....I am just thankful for coffee and iPads. I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss my closet a little bit. Limited pre-planned outfit options are hard. I did pack this shirt, but I like it with these heels best!
I hope everyone had a great weekend!
