clutch: leur logette // shoes: zara
You know you've been there, you wear black on a triple digit heat day and someone says, "oh my, it is too hot to be wearing black". Really? Too hot? I thought this silk breezy number just screamed summertime chill! No?
Clearly it's just me, but this top really is the perfect summer top. Sure, you could get it in a different color if you are of the mindset that you can't wear white jeans in the winter either. But lets be risk takers, or a heat casualty and go against the imaginary seasonal clothing rules. Black is the new black. It also hides the coffee that dribbled out of my mouth like I just left a trip to the dentist..........Still sitting here wondering what happened there. I blame my children. Always. There are more of them than me, so any one of them could take the blame.
Anyway, we had ourselves a nice little weekend here in the south. A little outdoor play, some ant hole demolition, there was some lawn cutting, and a trip to the museum. All very low key, but effective in the weekending department. Other than that, I have been on a mission to figure out how to not wash my hair in this humidity. This is no Alaska three to four day dirtiness throw some dry shampoo in it and call it clean. No, No. My hair is saying, wash me, even after you just washed me. So I got some new products and I hope to report back to you soon. In the meantime if you have any suggestions, send them my way. Products, shower caps, or maybe we should take a poll and see if I should go all G.I. Jane with is, because mama does not have time for all this hair washing......there are snakes in the backyard to be dealt with.
Dirty hair forever. Forever, forever ever, forever ever? Yes.
