One thing I am always excited for in the changing of a season, is the changing of my makeup. Truly, not too much changes for me from summer to fall, or winter to spring. Maybe a lighter foundation, maybe a blush to bronzer switch-a-roo, but always a lip color change. Per the usual I like to have fun with my makeup. Lately though I have been gravitating towards more neutral tones. I always reach for a nude lip, but I am really liking a brown as well. I took the plunge into dark tones last year, and brown has kind of stuck around. I know it isn't for everyone. But with a gold smokey eye, and some highlight on the cheeks, I think it is a fun change.
I started with my usual face line up, foundation, this drugstore concealer is SO GOOD, blush in the color blushbaby, and my favorite powder highlight in the color lightscapade.
For the eyes I wanted to stick to a more day time smokey eye, so I went in with a deep brown, and copper color from this Butter London palette. You know I like a bold brow, so I used my usual Brow Wiz, and finished it all off with a couple layers of Roller Lash, and my go-to Loreal mascara.
I love the deep color of the matte liquid lipstick from Colourpop, but it can be drying. So I always use this lip balm before I apply it. Then to soften it up a little bit, I used the NYX liquid lipstick, which is a little more moisturizing.
I have so many fun fall makeup ideas, so let me know if there are things you want to see as well!! Or if you even want to see makeup tutorials. Or you could say nothing....I'll never know!
