Maybe I should rephrase that. Almost all occasions call for some kind of pants, but I am talking about the ones that exclude denim. Those occasions are few and far between for me, but they have happened. When the dress code calls for "business casual" jeans need not apply. So I always like to have a pair of pants or two on hand that I can dress up or down depending on the venue.
All the pants in my closet do not fit. I bought a couple pairs right after I had Odette because we had Ace's preschool graduation then, and a couple other things. But those no longer fit. I jumped at the opportunity to style a pair of pants with Mararget M Boutique. They are a company based out of Canada, famous for their "slimming pants". So right there, who wouldn't want to try them? If you say slimming, I say.........here's my address. Their reputation precedes them! These pants are indeed slimming, and comfortable! Not tight at all, like slipping into a pair of leggings. Seriously.
They are polished enough for the office, or a night out. I chose to dress them up only slightly with a heel, and then add in some of my closet favorites. But these with a lace blouse, or off the shoulder top would be amazing. Or transition them to fall with a chunky knit and velvet ankle boots!
I would never steer you wrong on an item of clothing, especially when it comes to pants, because I for one have always had a hard time finding a great pair. But these fit like a glove, not an OJ Simpson glove, a real one my friends.
And with that, I hope you all have an amazing long weekend! My baby Pierce turns five on Monday and we have been celebrating since Wednesday! Even with the festivities I am in complete denial. I even passed up buying a cake last night at the store because I thought I was going to burst out in tears.
So, let the celebrations continue!
A huge thank you to Margaret M for partnering on this post, as always I would never put a product on here unless I truly liked it! And a huge thank you to you guys for supporting the companies that support this blog!
