If I had to describe my style, I think tomboy chic would pretty much sum it up. I live in denim as you probably already know. I love a slouchier boyfriend jean over a skinny any day, although I am not one to discriminate. But instead of going full on Chris style I like to add in feminine details. It's usually with a top mixed with jeans and sneakers, or if I am doing a simple tee and jeans I will throw on a heel to keep it classy.
But I am loving all the ruffle details that are pouring into every retailer. They are so easy to dress up with a pencil skirt, or high waisted trouser. Or keep it casual with distressed denim and jackets. Tomboy chic also just fits my mom life oh so well. I can easy go from school drop off to meeting Chris downtown for a coffee, and then heading to the park with the kids. That sentence makes it all seem so easy and less chaotic than it really is.....
What's that saying? Dress for the job you want, not the job you have. I dress for sanity on the outside, and keep my crazy tucked in!
But, there are so many great ruffle blouses at every price point right now, and honestly I will take them all, please! Here are some I have my eye on.
