2017 Trend- Frill Blouses
I am not in any way shape or form sad to see January go. Was that not the longest month ev-er? What the hell was the deal? Christmas feels like ages ago, ages I tell you! January just put me in a choke hold and would not let go! Nothing particularly bad happened, we actually celebrated many good things, but it was just long.

I am happy to see a new month on the calendar! Maybe my mood upper is also due to the fact that Chris is basically off this month. He just checks in in the morning, and then goes to the gym. Obviously with the Army that could change at any moment, but his main focus is just to study and get ready for his next course. So having him home is pretty awesome.

Also awesome (in my book) is this blouse! And these jeans are my absolute obsession right now. I love that patches are making a comeback, especially on anything denim. I was totally the middle schooler with patches ironed on to my backpack, and I had a denim jacket that I wore to all my horse shows and barrel races that was covered in patches from all the different cities I had shown in. Truly I should have kept those things!! But I will now live my memories through these. These denim have a Nevada patch on them which speaks to my Las Vegas roots.

On a funny note, I wish there was a video that I could show you of us taking these pictures. Columbus is a small town, but there are so many tiny towns surrounding it that have old gas stations, or stores no longer in business. Well, I chose this old gas station that looked very much closed. Chris said "watch someone pop out of this place and scare the shit out of you".

And that is exactly what happened! Here we are just being totally normal humans taking pictures (insert eye roll emoji) of a super dramatic frill top, catching some good light and a gust of wind or two, when a face appears in the window and Chris said "whatever you do, do not turn around" I said "shut up stop messing with me". I turn around and screamed and ran in the car.

I really need to stop watching The Walking Dead!
